Duo Protection is a 100% natural hoof grease made from horse fat. Duo Protection Hoof Grease is absorbed by the hoof, keeps it moist from the inside and does not close off the hoof. Horse fat contains glycerine and this attracts moisture. This results in faster growth of the hoof wall and a stronger structure of the hoof. It can also be used on leather. It protects and nourishes the leather.

The company Duo Protection was founded by Simone Vlietstra and Gerrit Jan van Enck. Because their own horse had bad hoofs, they started looking for a natural solution. Melting horse fat and applying it to the bad hooves, soon turned into a positive result. In 2014 they decided to officially launch this 100% natural product on the market. With many, positive reactions by now, Duo Protection is the hoof care of the future.
