On the road with your horse
Whether you’re on your way to a competition or going on a trail ride in a different area, sometimes your horse needs to be transported by trailer.
Here are a few pointers to bear in mind:
One of the most important things you need while on the road with your horse is good leg protection, such as travel boots. Travel boots will protect the horse's legs from injuries. Your horse should be able to maintain its balance when you take a turn or drive on a roundabout. If your horse loses its balance, there’s a chance it might injure itself. The travel and stable boots from Epplejeck are popular travel boots because their soft and washable Neoprene lining offers optimal protection.
What is essential for your horse trailer?
There are a number of products in our shop that make transporting your horse and everything that comes with it a little easier. For example, a filled hay net ensures that your horse can nibble and won’t get bored so easily. It is always a good idea to secure your horse on the trailer with a strong plastic chain with a panic hook. If your horse starts to panic in the trailer, the chain will come off. If your horse rubs its tail during transport, we recommend you use a tail protector. Check out our range in the theme shop On the Road. Everything you need for your horse when on the road, you’ll find at Epplejeck.
