It’s very normal for us to bake a cake or some cupcakes for birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions… but how often do you treat your horse to some homemade, selfmade, handmade goodies?

The ultimate special occasion: your horse’s birthday! Or maybe the day you bought your horse, if you don’t know the actual birthday. Or maybe you want to treat your horse for both of these days 😝
This cake is as easy as it can get – and you don’t even need to bake it! The perfect last minute treat, basically.
What you need:
- 2 apples
- 2 carrots
- Wheat bran
- Oats
Grate the apples and carrots and mix them with a little bit of wheat bran and oats. The dough should be sticky and sturdy enough to hold together by itself. You can shape it by hand, use a cake form or cookie cutters – whatever you prefer. You can also add some apple slices or carrots to add your horse’s age on the cake.
You can feed it to your horse immediately, no need to wait!
