QHP ambassadors review the summer collection

Did you already see the new summer collection of QHP? It’s full of pretty clothing items and beautiful tack for your horse. The sponsored riders of QHP tested products of both categories to tell you all about the new collection.

Training shirt Noëlla

Amber van Heghe (Belgium) – This shirt is amazing! A nice fabric, which is supple and does not restrict you in any movements. During your training, the shirt stays cool, which prevents you from sweating. I don’t only wear the shirt at the stable, but also in my daily life. The colour is gorgeous – a little bright, but that’s great in the summer anyway. The Noëlla shirt from QHP is my favourite shirt for the coming season, an absolute recommendation!

Mar Munné Garcia (Spain) - The QHP training shirt Noëlla gives a very comfortable and fresh feeling while riding, now that the sunny days are coming. The shirt never gets wet from sweat and is very breathable, which makes you feel comfortable and clean. The sporty, elegant design makes the shirt perfect to combine with any other QHP clothing item. The print on the sleeve gives a very athletic and striking touch to the shirt.

Your skin will stay dry at all times, when you wash the shirt it dries super quickly and no stains or hairs will stay on after washing. The shirt also doesn’t crinkle when you fold it and has no smell. It also stays super elastic after washing, so it continues to be able to shape to the body and the movements of the rider. I can’t say anything other than that I’m feeling super positively about this new shirt!

Saddle Pad Juliet

Amber Geens (Belgium) – What I immediately noticed about this saddle pad is the light fabric combined with the 3D-mesh on the spine. The back of my horse is noticeably less sweaty after riding with this saddle pad, which did very much surprise me, as my horse sweats very quickly and very much. Another very nice advantage is that the saddle pad dries quickly after training. And it also has a nice, anatomic fit. At the beginning, I thought that the saddle pad was a bit on the smaller side for my dressage saddle, but that’s absolutely not the case, as you can see from the pictures. The invisible zipped pocket is very practical to store your valuables or hoof pick or anything else necessary for a trail ride. In short, I’m a fan of the saddle pad Juliet!

Emma Lawton (England) – I’m totally in love with the saddle pad Juliet. I picked the bordeaux colour and it’s amazing! The bottom of the saddle pad is super soft against the skin. my grey Wills has a sensitive skin and this saddle pad is very suited, as it doesn’t chafe. It’s also absorbent and therefore very suited for training on a warm day.

The saddle pad has an anatomic fit with enough space above the withers and a mesh line on the spine for ventilation. I really like that, as the back can get really warm with a saddle pad and a half pad. The elastic D-ring loops are very practical as they are also suited for a monoflap saddle, normal saddle and in combination with a half pad. Thanks to these loops and the saddle loops, the saddle pad nicely stays in place during use.

The pocket on the left side is something that I’ve never seen before, and also never used until now, but I know for sure that it’ll come in handy at some point! If you don’t need or want to use the pocket, it’s practically invisible anyway.
