Is your horse sensitive and nervous in exciting situations such as competitions, on the trailer or when moving stables? Or could your horse use some more inner peace in the daily training? Maybe the ChillPill is something for your horse - we’ll tell you all about this special, mushroom-based pill!
What is the ChillPill?
The
ChillPill is a 100% natural tranquiliser and makes horses less stress-sensitive. It’s the ideal support horse horses that get stressed easily or are experiencing tense and difficult times. The ChillPill contains a fantastic combination of natural ingredients to provide more inner peace and good concentration. This special pill was developed on the basis of the Agaricus subrufescens mushroom (also known as Agaricus blazei or Agaricus brasiliensis), which is often referred to as almond mushroom due to its almond taste. This mushroom is one of the most powerful immune system-stimulating mushrooms in the world!
How does the ChillPill work?
The almond mushroom contains a very high level of (among other things) antioxidants and polysaccharides, which are sugar-like compounds. These have an important effect on the immune system and the brain. Research has shown that the production of so-called neurotransmitters -signal substances in the brain – is influenced by these substances and is therefore effecting the mood of animals. The ChillPill does not make horses sluggish, and instead simply has a real calming effect on the brain.
Vitamin C promotes the absorption of the antioxidants and polysaccharides from the mushroom in the intestine and thus support the effect of the VITALstyle ChillPill. In addition, vitamin C itself also plays an important role in providing optimal support in cases of stress and anxiety. Horses can produce vitamin C themselves in the liver and do not need to take it from food, unlike humans. Anxiety and stress lead to an increased release of the stress hormone Cortisol, which is why the ChillPill also contains calcium carbonate and dicalcium phosphate. Cortisol increases the release of calcium into the urine and decreases the absorption of calcium into the intestine. Low calcium levels in the blood can increase feelings of stress and anxiety. The many experiences with this special mushroom show that is has a naturally calming effect and is very effective for horses suffering from stress.
“Takes off the edge and improves concentration”
Yvonne Snieder, one of ECOstyle’s ambassadors, confirms: “
ChillPill really takes the edge off, without making the horses slow down. One of my horses is very restless on the lorry, when he gets the pills he is clearly calmer. One of the Friesians I ride also shows an enormous effect and it has really changed his behaviour at competitions. Previously he was far too powerful in the ring, with the ChillPill I can control his energy and he has more concentration. Now his quality can properly be shown in the ring as well!”
What’s the difference to magnesium citrate?
Horses with stress or nervous behaviour are often given magnesium citrate. In stress situations, horses use extra magnesium, which increases the magnesium requirement. At the same time, a magnesium deficiency causes stress and nervous behaviour. So stress can cause stress. Quite logical! Do you train your horse intensively? A horse does not only lose magnesium by sweating, but also by concentrated work which increases the magnesium need. Sport horses therefore have an increased magnesium need and it’s important that this is supplemented! The more a horse sweats and the more it moves, the greater the magnesium need of your horse.
ChillPill is specifically developed for horses with stress, whereas magnesium citrate has a broad effect on the muscles. Magnesium citrate does not work directly against stress, but it can have a stress-reducing effect if muscle tension is the cause of stress.
100% natural and doping free
