Dyon bitless bridle blog by Caro

Our latest guest blogger Caro also know as @loeil_de_shoo talks about her experience with Dy'on bitless bridle.

About me

Hello me it's Caro but you may know me on the social media as @loeil_de_shoo!

I am lucky enough to share my life with Biddy, Fakir, Hermes and Daisy. I am also the mother of a little boy Maë (Daisy's official rider). Once again pregnant, I am, for the moment, a recreational rider... But after the birth of my daughter I intend to start riding again seriously and launch the sporting career of Fakir and Hermes!

My "bitless" approach

Since I have Fakir, the beautiful horse above, I have decided not to put a bit in his mouth. I have nothing against it but if we can do it without one, why not? But I also remain realistic: if we want to start eventing or competing in general, I will not have a choice!

Finally, the most complicated thing was not to break in my pony without a bit but rather to find a side-pull bridle that suits him perfectly. There are lots of bits on the market, lots of different snaffles... but adapted sides, not so much.

Fakir is 7 years old this year and I finally found THE side-pull!

The Dy'on solution

After trying several side pull bridles, I found the one that fits him best: the LCBD side pull of Dy'on developed in collaboration with the Haras de la Cense. I find it really flexible and it doesn't move at all, compared to the models I had tried before.
before.

The connection of the reins allows a precise connection, the pressure is well distributed and the ears are well cleared. The headpiece and knots fit all horses perfectly, so soon will try on Hermes 😏. Plus, I'm a total fan of how it looks! 😍

Hope you enjoyed my blog! (Originally in French)
