The Bucas Select Quilt Stay-Dry can be used as liner or by itself as stable sheet. Super handy and multifunctional with the one and only Bucas quality. Like! The liner can be combined with other rugs from the Bucas range, such as the Power Turnout, the Smartex, or the Irish select. These rugs have Velcro closures which can be used to a attach a neck piece, however you can also use these closures to attach the Bucas Select Quilt Stay-Dry to the rug. Two Velcro fasteners can also be found at the rear of these rugs to ensure the liner stays in place. A loose neck and liner can give your winner extra warmth and comfort.
The Bucas Select Quilt Stay-Dry has an inner lining of unique, anti-bacterial Stay-Dry fleece. A separate cooler becomes redundant and there is always a dry layer of fleece ensuring a slow cooling process and minimum stiffness after an intense training or a shower. The liner drains sweat and cools down your horse rapidly. With it you no longer have to switch rugs around.
The outer lining is smooth nylon and the rug has a chest closure with overlapping flap, removable surcingles and a single leg strap. The fit is optimal, as is the case with all Bucas rugs, with shoulder gussets for maximum freedom of movement and a high level of wearability.
Epplejeck offers the Bucas Select Quilt Stay-Dry in 150 grams and 300 grams editions. When using the 150 grams version it will give an extra 15 degrees of isolation. This rug can be used with outdoor temperatures of -10 to +12 degrees.
If your horse tends to be cold and shivery you can choose to use the 300 grams Bucas Select Quilt Stay-Dry. This thick rug can be used with temperatures of -20 to +10 and when used with an outdoor rug it offers 20 degrees of extra isolation.
