Ok, we'll admit - "famous" may be reaching for it when it comes to international fame. But some of the guys features in the 2021 calendar are already known through TV appearances in the Netherlands. The barman of the Dutch version of First Dates
, Victor Abeln, starts off the calendar in January. You will definitely get lost in his blue eyes. On the cover and in the month of June, we have Paul Luzineau. In 2020, he won the titel of "Most handsome man of the Netherlands". And Luca Derin participated in the Dutch Love Island. Together with a stunning Friesian, he's making November sweeter.
A good deed!
The twelf handsome hunks are selflessly advocating for a good deed - the
Brooke Hospital for Animals. This charity helps horses and donkeys get medical attention in countries like Egypt or Pakistan. This medical help is often critical - if the animal can't work because of, for example, a wound, the owners and family behind the animal are also losing their source of income. Helping these animals therefore also helps people be able to afford food, huising and more. The charity ensures that the equine can get back to work and educates the owner on welfare, care and health of the animals.
More men
Thee Horse and Hunk calender started 12 years ago, when Fianna Imminga had to set up a student company in the last year of his Equine Business study. Together with a few other students, she got the idea of Horse and Hunk. There's enough calendars with beautiful women, but not enough with handsome men, she thought. Time for a change!
“We made a casting call for handsome men and preferably also men that are actually equestrians. We got more than 300 applications! Thankfully enough of my friends were happy to help put together the selection of calendar models" Fianne tells us.
